Fracture And Trauma Bracing

There are two general types of orthopedic casts: Rigid and Semi-Rigid. Rigid casts are typically used for fractures (especially for mid ulnar or radial fractures) or post-operative/post-cast stabilization. Semi-rigid casts, on the other hand, address wrist and hand fractures, distal humerus fractures, proximal radial or ulnar fractures, tibial fractures and femoral fractures.
